Steven Cread Bayliss is a visual artist based out of Oklahoma City. His time spent with a brush started at a very early age, but became an obsession and passion at ~14 years old. He continued to spend countless hours spilling paint on his parents' carpet during high school. Then, he pursued an art degree in college while everyone else pursued pragmatic degrees. He finished out his college career by studying traditional egg-tempera painting in Florence, Italy. Then, after selling out his senior show back in Oklahoma, he took the cash and split town for the mountains. After one hell of a winter, while living with some Europeans in Breckenridge, CO. Mr. Bayliss returned to Oklahoma with not one, but two broken wrists. This would be the story behind "Lefty" which is still his only left handed painting to date. By this time, he'd finagled his way into the oil & gas industry while still spending time in the studio. You're pretty much caught up at this point..
